A Brother's Birthday
By ScrappyPam on Apr 20, 2010 | In Stamping | 6 feedbacks »
Tomorrow is my brother's birthday. Naturally, I made a card.
I made this card yesterday with my Tim Holtz stamps and had it all ready to go in the mail. Then I read Lori's blog post where she was talking about all the projects she forgot to get photos of. And I started thinking.... yep, you guessed it. No photo of the card.
Did you know that if you put an envelope with a self-sticking stamp on it in the freezer for a few hours, the stamp peels right off? You can then put it on another envelope and it's good to go.
Tag, You're It
By ScrappyPam on Apr 16, 2010 | In Stamping | 3 feedbacks »
I had a leftover tag from this week's Tag Tuesday with the same background as the tag I submitted. All I needed to do was finish it, so I did.
I used the same premise in this tag as the challenge, which is to use a word or phrase that inspires you. I used this one from one of Wendy Vecchi's stamp sets, along with her leaf stamp. And, as seems to be the norm with me these days, I used some spring colors. I've never been a big yellow person, but I'm loving the Mustard Seed Distress Ink. Who knew?
I Finally Did It!

After much procrastination and some work, I finally opened my Etsy shop. It doesn't have much in it yet as I still have some photos to take and items to input. But I am working on it!
Many thanks to my friend Louise for her Etsy advice. Without it I would have made some costly mistakes!
Remember this project? I turned it into this:
A piece of wall art that is now in my shop. Thanks for looking!
Color Combo Challenge

I'm hosting a color combo challenge over at StampHaven and created a sample card for it. The challenge is to use the colors blue/purple, green and white or black.
Tag Tuesday #47

Inspire me! That's what Louise told us to do over at Tag Tuesday this week. I was inspired by this stamp; I wanted to create something with it the other day but it didn't work for that project. So today I built my tag around the quote.
My thanks to Sarah, who gifted me with this stamp! Please take a few minutes to visit the other participants of Tag Tuesday - you'll be glad you did!
