Cute Enough?

"Cutesy" is the theme over at Kard Krazy's Tag Tuesday this week. I'm with Faye; I don't really do cutesy. Or at least, I don't do it well! I have very few "cute" stamps and while I can sometimes get a card together, I found that I had a really hard time trying to make a cutesy tag.

Tag Tuesday #38

For this week's theme of "Monogram" over at Tag Tuesday I created this piece:

ScrappyPam: Tag Tuesday #38

For my monogram, I covered the grungeboard letter in foil. And I practiced my masking skills with the teapot and cups. Speaking of "T", I think I'll go get myself a cup of Earl Gray - it's just a tad chilly here at 27°!

Imagination

Another WinterHaven challenge completed! Since the weather outside is frightful - I haven't seen the sun in days (and I really hate that...) - might as well hang in my studio.

This challenge took me forever to do. We are supposed to use ONE piece of patterned paper with no other paper. I love pretty patterned paper (have I said that before?) but looking back over the last year or so I realize that I haven't used it very much.

I wanted to do an image transfer on this piece but I couldn't find an image I wanted in my magazines. Image transfers - I use packing tape - don't work on inkjet-printed images, which meant I couldn't use any of the images hoarded stored on my computer. I had to fall back on my stamps, but in the end it turned out all right.

Digital Valentine

I had fun doing this challenge from our WinterHaven event over at StampHaven: Create a card with at least one digital element. I chose to go completely digital after I saw this cute valentine over at Twisted Papers (it's a free download).

The frame (a digi tile that I modified) is from River City Rubber Works and the painted background is courtesy of Art Creations Friday challenge blog.
