I had some artsy company over a long weekend and had a great time with everyone here. Sarah, Louise & Lori and I whiled away the time in Alabama: We visited antique and thrift shops, ate, crafted, ate, played Farkle and ate. We may have imbibed some adult beverages along the way...

This is the dessert Louise & Lori made for us one night. It might have had just a tad of rum in it.

I made sure that they had some good southern food.

Lunch at the Blue Plate Diner. Yum!

I covered all of the food groups and had a colorful palate, to ensure my guests had a healthy diet while they were here.

They say that blue foods are very good for you.

We even got crafty. Here, we're working on some chunky ATCs:

And we got to play with some Friendly Plastic, which made cool charms.

I have to say that I'm so thankful for my crafty friends and that we are able to spend time together.

Too bad that everyone had to go home. I guess we'll just have to do it again!
