I answered a challenge over at StampHaven to use varnish on my project. Basically it was a découpage challenge and I used this pretty napkin with gel medium instead of varnish. I covered a Starbucks frap bottle with the napkin then added some embellishments.

I did a little stamping on the flowers. I added lace and buttons and Stickles and liberally used my gold leaf pen for the cap. The metal charm on top completed it.

I'm off for the week (leaving DH behind) to visit with Louise and Sarah in Chicago. It's the perfect time: It's not hot but it's not too cold yet. I can't wait!
