I'm late, I'm late! And for my "own" challenge! Louise over at Kard Krazy requested ideas for themes for her weekly Tag Tuesday challenge and for this week (last week?) she chose one of my ideas - doodling! For this she sent me a lovely ephemera package that I'm dying to play with. Thanks, Louise!!

This idea has been rolling around in my brain for a couple of days and I finally got it down on paper. For my doodling, I drew the background flourishes with a VersaMark pen and embossed it in black. (I left the stray specks of embossing powder; I like the look.) I then inked up the tag with Scattered Straw and Faded Denim Distress Inks, and added my image. I added Black Diamond Stickles to the flourishes for more bling, then used a white gel pen to add additional flourishes. To me it sort of looks like a fancy headdress for my vintage lady.

DH went birdwatching this morning and took the camera, so I had to scan my tag. I was afraid it would look fuzzy because of the dimension of the brads, but it's not too bad.
