Some of you may remember that I went on an art cruise last October. You might also remember that I never did show too many projects I made from that cruise, although there were a lot of cool classes taught by both Tim Holtz and Wendy Vecchi.

That's because I haven't finished most of them.

But this weekend has been a crafty weekend. It's been rainy and hot and just good days for staying indoors. So DH and I decided to finish some projects from the cruise.

We decided to work on one of Wendy's projects, a cool cork bulletin board. This is Wendy's sample from the cruise (along with her hand):

We had everything in our kits to make everything Wendy had on her board. Many people finished theirs in the workshop on the cruise. Not me! I think I spent too much time cutting stuff out. Anyway, this is what I came home with...

And I hate to say it, but I didn't even finish the background part. (I'm slow! I admit it!) I remember I did spend a lot of time in class on my grungeboard letters - and I had a lot more than what's on Wendy's board. Here's my finally finished piece:
