A Coaster Thanks

I realized today that I needed a thank you for someone. Actually, I've known for almost a week that I needed one - what I realized today is that I hadn't yet made the thank you, let alone sent it. Time to get creating!
I decided I wanted to do something a little more than just a normal card. I started with a 4"x4" coaster that I layered with paper, grungepaper, grungeboard and chipboard, along with a sticker, stamps and a pretty cloth flower. Oh, and let's not forget the Distress Stickles I used in the center of the flower to give a little more bling to the clear gem.
It's different from what I normally do and it was fun making it. Needless to say, it won't go in the mail in a regular envelope! Hopefully I'll get this sent off tomorrow and then that's one more item off of my list. Next!

That is such a creative idea. It is really beautiful. I love what you did, I think who ever you send it to, will love it!
