Christmas Tags
By ScrappyPam on Dec 16, 2009 | In Stamping
I intended to post this earlier - I made these tags back in November - but somehow the memory card the photo is on got misplaced. I found it this morning, which was a nice surprise since I had forgotten all about the pictures on it!
I sent a Christmas stocking to a soldier stationed in Iraq just after Thanksgiving. All she asked for was chocolate candy. The hardest part was deciding what kind to get her! Since she didn't specify brands or flavors, I went with plain chocolate - Hershey's Kisses, Hershey's chocolate bars and some M&M's. I included some tins to store it all in; I figured they'd be useful after the candy was gone. I hope she enjoys it!
For each tin and her stocking, I made a tag. They are very simple, just an inky background and some stamping. I wanted to get the package in the mail on time (yes I was late, as always!), and I wanted something that wasn't fussy.
ETA: Didn't think of this when I posted my tags, but they also fit with Louise's Tag Tuesday challenge: To use a punch of some sort on your tag. Thanks, Louise!

And with the punched corners they are
perfect for this week's Punch It challenge at Tag Tuesday!
I like all of the different corners.
