Twelve Tags of Christmas, Day 6
By ScrappyPam on Dec 7, 2009 | In Stamping
One thing I can say is that I'm getting my Christmas tags done!
Once again I took the tag Tim Holtz created and did my own thing. So far I've used what I've got and I plan to keep doing that. What I don't have for this tag is flock. I don't use it, don't plan on using it in the future, no sense in buying it, right?
So I made my own. It was easy. If you've ever distressed the edges of a piece of cardstock, you've made your own flock! I just took a white piece of cardstock, distressed the edges over a small tray and used that in place of the store-bought stuff. I think it works great. (Although I think I could have placed it on the tree a little better.)
I don't have a car stamp, either. I just left it out. I'm getting good at that!

Great great tag.
Eileen
your alternative for snow is perfect ! I con't have the flock either and I used something else, but it's hard. Your alternative still has that fluffy feeling.
Thanks for the idea !
