It's A Little Bit Funny

These things that I do...

Today is Day Two of Tim's Twelve Tags of Christmas. This one wasn't nearly as difficult for me as yesterday's tag. That doesn't mean that everything went smoothly.

You see, one of the major elements of today's tag is a stamped and distress embossed frame. It took me a little while to get started, because I don't have that many images of frames. I found one, which is not nearly as effective as the one Tim Holtz used in today's tag. But I went with it.

Lesson for today - seems that there is a really good reason to have your studio/creative space organized:

On the really off chance that you can't find it either, I've pointed a BIG RED ARROW at it. Go ahead. I'd laugh, too. (If I wasn't me.)

Oh my, I did the same thing....went right past that set, and was digging in my stash for another frame. Went back to the Tim binder to find a flourish, and yep, there it was. Did find it in time to use it though.
Got a real kick out of your blog post. Things like that happen all the time. It's hard to be organized when you're always getting new stuff. I have to downsize!!

I did laugh! What's funny too, is that I was wailing and moaning that I didn't have the right stamp and here you had exactly what he used, but you didn't use it, and your tag still came out fantastic!

I have that set and am SO glad you pointed that out. I am SURE I would have breezed right by it as well! I'm in CA and still have 3+ hours before I get home to craft and it feels like it will be days! Anyway - I LOVE your take on the tag and the vignette kind of scene to it. Great job!
