Viva la Mexico!

Where, according to all the shop keepers in every port we visited, everything they are selling is "almost free". What a deal!
We are back from our art cruise. We stayed a couple days in San Pedro (Los Angeles) and got back Tuesday night. Because both of us went, that meant a lot of laundry and a lot of catching up on life in general. I want back on the ship where the food was wonderful (lobster or filet, anyone?), the dining room and stateroom service was fantastic (I want George to come clean my bathrooms at home) and the company was grand (hello, fellow cruisers!).
The waiters were at our beck and call every day, our room was cleaned every day, all we had to do was ask for something and it was ours within moments.
But now I'm home. And I have to face all the stuff from our cruise classes that I haven't unpacked yet:
Not to mention that we actually have to go buy groceries and then bring them home and cook them. Then clean up afterward. It's a big let down, let me tell you. I wonder if they'll let you live on the cruise ship?
Where else can you get this level of attention, just because? (Towel Dog courtesy of George, our stateroom attendant.)
I guess I'll just have to get used to the fact that the cruise is not my world anymore. Sigh.
Oh, and we did do some art in our fantastic classes with both Tim Holtz and Wendy Vecchi. This is from one of our short classes with Tim:
Luckily I took this photo on the ship, since the projects aren't unpacked. More to come! (Uh, after I finish unpacking.)

That towel animal brought back memories.
The dog is cute....but some of the ones we found on our bed were downright scray:)
I miss the good life, too. Vacations are supposed to make home look better -- what happened here?
Do you think you'll be unpacked by Thanksgiving?
