Progressive Scrapbook Page, Part 2
By ScrappyPam on May 7, 2009 | In Digi-Scrapping, Scrapping
I seem to have created some confusion in yesterday's post. The page I did is actually a hybrid - digi and paper. I'll show you the breakdown, so you can see what I did where - and you'll also see the progression of pages I did.
First, I completed a 6"x6" page. This is the actual digital portion:

Here you can see the background I used (which can be found here - it's a free download from The Angel Company) and the three different photos I overlayed on it. (If anyone is curious, I use Photoshop Elements for my digi work.) I also did some stamping and inking, then I placed it on the red patterned paper.
Next, I placed my 6"x6" page on an 8"x8" page, using patterned paper backed with black cardstock. I offset it so that it had some interest, and I had room to add a ribbon with a chipboard ribbon slider (inked up, of course) along with some alpha stickers from the paper collection. You can also see where I stamped on the patterned paper and distressed the edges.

Finally, I attached the 8"x8" page to the 12"x12" cardstock layer, again offset from center, using some stamping and strips of the patterned paper to complete it:

And there you have it - a progressive hybrid layout.
