Background Challenge

I was playing around the other day and created a background (you know how I love making backgrounds!) with some inks. I started off with another postcard-type flyer we got in the mail (aka junk mail) as my base. It had a bunch of termites on the photo (ewww!!!) but it was funky looking so I thought, what the heck!
I brayered on some Brilliance Copper and some Black Soot Distress inks. Once that dried, I applied some alcohol inks (stream and slate, I think) and blew them around with my can of air.

It's still pretty funky! I thought I might challenge the folks over at StampHaven to take it and do... something with it. You can find the challenge here - come on over and play! (You'll need to register to download the photo, but registration is free.)
For my sample, I had started embossing an image and thoroughly messed it up! There went my background. But, I still had the photo I made, so I created a digi version:

And what do you know, I used the image for the challenge this week at artcreations.blogspot.com, so I'll put this in their challenge too.
