It seems that Spring arrived while I wasn't looking. My dad went into the hospital for a few weeks and ended up having open heart surgery. He's at home now, and seems to be recovering nicely. But it has been a bit hectic here, with almost-daily trips to the hospital.

It's also tax season - need I say more?? But they are done now and I can avoid them again until next year!

Meanwhile, our daffodils have come and gone. Our azeleas are now in full bloom:
