Harvest Challenge

The Vintage Veranda is hosting a second challenge this month with the theme harvest. By the way, there's another Vintage Veranda Fun Pack up for grabs for participating in this challenge! (You can see a sneak peak of the Fun Pack here.)
This is my submission for the challenge:

The background is one that my husband created for me with ink and stamps. Cool, huh?
Emma had a question about this card I posted on October 21: "Did you use a patterned background and then put the inks on the top?"
The entire background is alcohol ink on white glossy cardstock. First, I went over the entire paper with the caramel & mushroom colors. Once completely dry, I stamped the image with Palette Noir Ink. I then created the border with cranberry and eggplant alcohol inks. And I stippled some Brilliance ink on the inside edges of the cranberry border, just to create some more depth (although I'm not sure you can see it in the photo). Hope that helps, Emma!
