Vintage Style Frame
By ScrappyPam on Dec 25, 2007 | In Stamping, Scrapping
I altered this simple wood frame for a Christmas present. Patterned paper is from Daisy D's Attic Heirlooms paper pack - love that paper - with some added vellum. I also used crocheted flowers from The Spinning Guy and there are even some flourishes stamped on the front, although they're light enough to blend in (which was intended).
You can't really see it in the picture, but I framed the outside and inside with two different ribbons to give it a finished look. For the insert, I papered both sides, one with each paper, so that it could be reversed depending on the look wanted. Clear photo corners were added on each side so that the recipient can easily insert a 6"x4" photo. I wanted her to be able to easily change out photos as she receives new ones. With three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, she has plenty of photos to choose from!
We have more family visits today and another Christmas dinner to partake of. We are having a wonderful holiday, and I hope you are too!
