Burning a Hole in My Pocket
I've been reading on a forum or two about some punches in a certain person's scrapbook line retailed in a certain store and saw some examples of how they can be used and then a really good coupon came out in last weekend's paper and oh, my! That was pretty much all she wrote and I am now the new owner of a fancy punch from that certain person's scrapbook line. I will note that if it were not for that coupon, I would not purchase anything from that line, but this sure was a perty punch and well.
A coupon is a terrible thing to waste.
Mouse Notes
Another mouse card; such a cute image.
Used my blue background from this post and then inked up the cardstocks behind it to create more texture.
It's Late
But I want to post this card! Made this earlier today but went out before I could get it up on my blog.
A combination of patterned papers and stamping, all in the same color tones, and of course layers!
A Masculine Birthday
A member of my family is having a birthday in a few days, so I'm sending him this card:
I bought this cute House Mouse stamp in the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby the other day. I used colored pencils on the image, and double-matted the image and the sentiment. No ribbon (although I considered it), as this card is for a guy.
And if I had thought about it (before I put the card in the mail!) I would have put some musical notes around the image.
